(Because broken doesn’t mean we stay that way.)
Let’s be real—some people heal with retreats, sound baths, and $120 therapy sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Us? We’re healing with stretch breaks, screenshot affirmations, and whatever’s in the fridge.
But here’s the truth that stings a little: even when we’re broke, tired, or burnt out—healing is still our choice.
Not because it’s easy. But because the alternative is staying stuck.
This page is for the scrappy ones. The ones who are still showing up, even if it’s just with vibes and a prayer.
You don’t need a full wallet to come home to yourself.
You just need a place to start.
This is it.

“1. Shake It Out – Somatic Release
Adrenaline, anger, anxiety—all of it lives in your body. Shaking helps you not store it.
Try for 2–5 minutes. Look ridiculous on purpose.”
Stretched Thin but Still Showing Up
-
Been clenching your jaw through life lately? You’re not just tense—you’re holding back truth, anger, boundaries, and all the things you didn’t say.
This one’s for releasing the bite behind the silence.Try this:
Sit or stand with a relaxed spine.
Slowly open your mouth like a yawn—then close.
Use fingertips to gently massage your jaw: below the cheekbones, then up to the temples.
Inhale through your nose, exhale with a sigh.
Repeat 3–4 times.
Bonus: Stick your tongue out. Let the tension look ridiculous if it needs to. This is your release.
-
Your shoulders weren’t built to carry everybody’s expectations, disappointment—but they’ve been doing it anyway.
This one’s for the weight you didn’t agree to carry, and the part of you that’s ready to hand some of it back.Try this:
Sit or stand tall. Roll your shoulders up, back, and down—slow, intentional.
Inhale deeply and shrug them toward your ears.
Exhale and drop them like you mean it. Let the tension fall with it.
Cross one arm over your chest and gently pull it in with the opposite hand—hold and breathe.
Switch sides.
Finish by interlacing fingers behind your back (or grabbing opposite elbows) and opening the chest if that feels safe.
Bonus: Whisper to yourself on the exhale:
“I don’t have to carry all of this.”
-
Your hips have been doing the emotional hoarding while you’ve been busy surviving.
Every time you swallowed pain, held back a scream, or stayed in a place too long—guess where it went?
Yeah. Here.
This one’s for loosening the weight that settled deep.Try this:
Sit on the floor and cross your right ankle over your left knee (figure-four style).
Gently lean forward until you feel a stretch in your right hip/glute.
Breathe into the tension—3 deep, slow breaths.
Switch sides.
If seated isn’t comfortable, lie on your back and try the same position (ankle over knee) and gently pull your legs toward your chest.
Bonus:“I survived it. I don’t have to store it.”
